Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your only chance to create a great first impression on buyers from a street perspective. The pluses and minuses that jump out at buyers form their initial thoughts about your house and how you perform house's regular maintenance. Knowing this helps us to choose what measures we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't attractive on the outside with touched up paint and colorful greenery it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your home seem to say, "This is Your Next House" to a buyer? Looking through your property from a buyer's view, I'll suggest changes that build up sales appeal. I'll advise you put in storage things that give the impression of clutter. Surface areas like tables, desks and counters should be neatly arranged. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and play time drawings should get moved out of sight. We need to remove the personal details from the house so buyers can envision it as their new place.
I'll look over every room of your home. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need new paint, rugs needing to get changed, fixtures that could use brightening, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively impact the sale.
We'll ensure your house is neutral and that it's welcoming, avoiding "offensive" or "too-bright" shades on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can consider temporary furnishings. The goal is for your house to look lived in as opposed to abandoned.

Setting the Stage I'll tell you when your house is ready to host an Open House, because all of the improvements mesh together to set the stage for what buyers can envision when they consider buying your house. Brightness is important and we'll draw back curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests enjoy your home and ensure a delightful aroma circulates room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your couch and bed. We want buyers to feel like your current home has the potential to be. |
